Fire District Election Update

In the Hartsdale Fire District, which had the only race between two candidates, incumbent fire commissioner Tony Fraska was re-elected to another five-year term. He beat Mr Feiner's endorsed candidate, Guy Novo with votes tallied at 309 to 279. Guy Nova, a local attorney, had robo calls from Mr Feiner touting the need to vote for him. As we've written before, Mr Feiner is still trying to push for fire district consolidation between at least two of the Greenburgh Fire Districts - Fairview and Hartsdale. In the Fairview Fire District, incumbent Fire Commissioner Michael Cotter was seeking a second term which he won running unopposed. In Greenville, also running unopposed, was Commissioner Jonathan Faust who also received a another term.
